PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for www.writestyle.com. This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this Web site. It will notify you of the following:

  1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the Web site, how it is used, and with whom it may be shared.
  2. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
  3. The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
  4. How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site or for processing through this site. We have access only to collect information that you voluntarily give to us via e-mail or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent your contact information to anyone; we will destroy highly sensitive data quickly.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request; e.g., to ship an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via e-mail in the future to tell you about specials (most likely, only online courses), new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the Web site, your information is protected both online and offline.

We request information from you on our order form. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit-card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we'll use your phone number or e-mail information to contact you. (Note: We never collect/use/file/sell/disseminate social security numbers, in part or in whole.)

In either of two ways we collect/protect sensitive information (such as credit-card data) that you have chosen to supply:

  1. That data is encrypted and transmitted in a secure way through our Web site directly to the payment processors (Authorize.Net and/or PayPal); we do not see your credit-card data. No matter which country you’re in, you can verify this by looking for a closed-lock icon at the bottom of your Web browser or for "https" at the beginning of the Web page’s address.
  2. We also protect your information when you send it within an e-mail message (via computer firewalls) or fax it to us, or when you give it to us over the phone; we conceal/protect it online and offline and keep it only as long as we need it—until your payment clears or the job is completed. Most important, if you have temporarily given us your credit-card data and asked us to use it in completing your credit-card authorization form for you (if you don’t wish to/don’t have time to fill in the form or if you are having trouble doing so) through our Web site, we will destroy that information (delete the concealed e-mail message containing it, or burn/shred/otherwise destroy a concealed paper copy or fax film) as soon as your payment clears our merchant-services system or, if you prefer, as soon as we complete the job or a series of jobs for you. Only a few high-level, carefully chosen employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information briefly, before that information is destroyed quickly.

At your request or our courtesy, we will forward to you a copy of your receipt for payment; in this way you will have a record of the service you have ordered/we are supplying and of the charges you have authorized to be billed to your account. Our copy of the finished document that we have written, edited or proofread for you, a scored course exam, etc. is a second record that you ordered the service and we provided it, therefore substantiating the agreed charge that will appear on your credit-card statement.

We may, under uncommon circumstances, partner with another trusted party to provide specific services that are listed on our Web site. When the user signs up for these services, we will share names or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

Your Access to and Control over Information

Your copies of e-mail transactions with us, receipts for payments, and other written communications will be your records of any personal information that you freely provided to us. You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the e-mail address or phone number given on our Web site:

  • – See what data we have about you, if any.
  • – Change/correct any data we have about you.
  • – Have us delete any data we have about you.
  • – Express any concern you have about our use of your data.
